At the end of an exciting and long night we killed the frost queen with 10 attempts remaining. I can honestly say that everyone put up a very solid performance on the kill attempt. We look forward to getting our feet wet with the Lich King later in the week.
As if a great burden was finally lifted from our shoulders, we finished the Ulduar instance we'd been extending since 3.3 launch and got our Mimiron's head. Although its two tiers old and largely a novelty at this point, it still warms the heart to know that we worked together as a guild over such a long period of time culminating in one of the rarest (and coolest) rewards in the game. Kayleah received the head even though I hadn't given it much thought. Even if you were in Alliance Anomaly back in the day you may not know Kayleah that well. Ever since she joined Anomaly her signature has been strong performance and zero drama. I'm not sure you could find someone with a bad thing to say about her. If anyone sets the standard for not only how to play this game but how to interact successfully within a group it would be her.

Been awhile since Insanity but we survived the holidays with only minimal losses. We also repeated our insanity kill the week of Christmas, so that's something. On a more interesting note, we got Putricide on attempt #13. Our week 2 attempts were a significant step up from week 1 where we only made it to phase 3 a couple of times - first attempt we did tonight saw a crushing <1 mil HP wipe. We also have two in guild 10 mans clearing it. (Un)Fortunately this will allow us to put some more time in on Yogg 0 which we haven't been to since the holidays. Looking forward to the new ICC bosses.
After two weeks in a row of 49 attempts remaining, we finally cracked Insanity. Ironically we struggled more on the last three bosses than we did previously but our hard work paid off in the form of another 10 achievement points. We're enjoying the taste of Icecrown while we work on Yogg 0 and wait for more bosses to become unlocked.
